Most doorbell and camera accessories are injection-moulded by the million, shipped halfway around the world, and sized for one exact model. We do it the other way round: we design and 3D-print our parts to order, in small batches, here in the UK and EU. That choice shapes everything you get — so here’s what it actually means.
Made when you order it, not made by the thousand
Nothing sits in a container for months. When you order a mount, we print it. So we can supply parts for doorbells the big brands dropped two model-years ago, tweak a design the week a new camera lands, and keep oddball or discontinued fittings alive instead of telling you they’re “out of stock forever.”
One good design beats fifty rushed ones
Because we’re not tooling up a factory, we keep improving. When a customer tells us a wedge sits better at a slightly different angle, or a plate needs to cover an older screw pattern, we change the file — and the next one printed is better. Mass production can’t do that; a print farm can.
We choose the material for the job
We print in bio-plastics and pick the filament for where the part lives. PETG for anything facing the weather, because it won’t go brittle or yellow in summer sun the way cheap PLA does. A small decision that’s the difference between a mount that lasts years outdoors and one that cracks at the first cold snap.
Honest about the trade-offs
3D-printed parts aren’t flawless — you’ll occasionally see a faint layer line, and we say so plainly on every product. In return you get a part made for your problem: covering old holes, fixing a bad viewing angle, mounting without drilling, or fitting a device nobody else supports.
Small workshop, real people
No monopoly, no call centre. When you buy from us you’re dealing with a small family workshop that actually makes the thing — and if a part isn’t right, we’ll sort it. That’s the whole point of doing it this way.
