A wedge that turns your doorbell to face the path, the gate or the steps instead of staring at the wall opposite. It sits between the doorbell's own back plate and the wall, so nothing about your existing fitting changes.

What it does

  • Turns the view left or right. The adjustment is side to side only - it does not move the doorbell up or down. Clear degree markings run from 25 to 55 degrees, so you can set the angle you want and repeat it exactly. The wedge is symmetrical, so the same part turns the view left or right.
  • Keeps your existing back plate. The wedge goes behind the plate your doorbell already came with, so you are not replacing anything.
  • Two ways to fix it. Stainless steel wall screws and plugs for masonry, or the 3M VHB adhesive pad if you would rather not drill - uPVC, glass, tiled porches, rented flats.
  • Made to live outside. Heavy-duty UV-stable PETG plastic with stainless steel hardware, so it will not yellow or go brittle after a couple of British winters. It is plastic, not metal - and that is deliberate. PETG will not corrode, and it will not sit between your doorbell and its wireless signal the way a metal mount can.
  • Washers for the plates that need them. Some doorbell back plates have screw holes a little too big for the screw, so the head pulls straight through instead of holding - the four stainless steel washers sort that out. They will not fit every doorbell, as some models leave no room for one, so use them only if yours needs them.

Who it suits

Narrow porches, doors set into a recess, doorbells fitted on the wrong side of the frame - anywhere the camera currently shows you a hedge while the delivery driver walks past out of shot.

Eufy, Aosu, Arlo, Blink, Nest, Netatmo, Reolink, Tapo, Wyze and most other slim video doorbells, wired or battery. This is our Slim wedge - if you have a Ring doorbell, our Regular wedge is the one you want. Doorbell not included.

Eight screws in total, in two sets, so count them before you think something is missing: the four small ones fix your doorbell to the wedge and lock the angle you have set, and the four longer ones go into the wall with their plugs.

What does the wedge do?
It turns your doorbell to one side so it points at your path, gate or steps instead of straight ahead - ideal for narrow porches, walls beside the door, or gateposts. The adjustment is left to right only; it does not move the doorbell up or down.
How much angle does it give?
Anywhere from 25 to 55 degrees. It is marked in degrees so you can set it accurately, and it is symmetrical, so the same wedge turns the view left or right.
Do I need to drill?
Not unless you want to. It sits between the back plate and the wall, and the kit includes four small screws with stainless washers for the doorbell, four wall screws with plugs, and a 3M VHB adhesive pad - use whichever suits your wall.
Do I have to take the doorbell down?
Only briefly. You unclip the doorbell, unscrew its back plate, put the wedge behind the plate and put it all back - about five minutes with a screwdriver.
Will it fit my Eufy doorbell?
Yes - this is the Slim wedge, shaped for Eufy, Nest, Blink and other slim doorbells, and being universal it fits many other brands too. It may sit slightly larger than the doorbell, which does not affect the fit. Ring owners want the Regular wedge instead.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes - printed in durable, weather-resistant material made to live outdoors.
