Swapped doorbells and left with a patch of old screw holes, drill marks and a faded square on the wall? This plate hides all of it. It's a blank backing plate that sits between your Ring doorbell and the wall, giving you a clean, tidy surface to mount onto.

Because it's drill-to-fit, you set the screw holes yourself to match your exact doorbell — which is why it works with any model on the market, not just one. No adhesive, and none needed: your doorbell's own screws pass through the plate and lock it flat against the wall.

It's deliberately a little larger than the doorbell itself. That's the point — the extra footprint is what covers the mess left by the last fitting and gives you a neat border.

Slim but strong, laser-cut from durable acrylic so it keeps a refined look and lasts outdoors.

In the box: the drill-to-fit wall plate on its own. No screws — you reuse the ones that came with your doorbell, since they're already the right size for its fixing holes. The doorbell itself and its original manufacturer back plate are not included — this is a plate to mount onto, not a spare factory bracket.

What's the wall plate for?
It gives you a clean, solid mounting surface and covers up old screw holes or marks from a previous doorbell or bracket - so your Ring doorbell goes on straight over a tidy backing.
Does it cover old holes?
Yes - that's the point. It's sized to hide typical previous-doorbell holes and give you fresh fixing points.
Do I need to drill?
You drill the plate to match your own doorbell's fixing holes. It then sits between the doorbell and the wall, and your doorbell's own screws pass through and lock it in place - which is why there are no screws in the box. The ones that came with your doorbell are the right ones. If you'd rather not drill at all, take a look at our no-drill adhesive mount instead.
Will it fit your Ring doorbell?
Yes - it works with Ring doorbells and, being universal, many other brands. It may sit a little larger than the doorbell, which doesn't affect fit or hold.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes - durable, weather-resistant material for outdoor use.
