A blank plate that goes between your doorbell and the wall. You drill the holes to suit whatever you are fitting, which is why it works with anything - doorbells, access control readers, keypads, intercoms, old models nobody makes a plate for any more.

One size, almost every doorbell

There is only one size, and it suits the vast majority of doorbells. Because the plate is blank, the hole pattern is whatever you mark on it, so compatibility is not really a question of brand or model - it is a question of size. Check the plate dimensions in the photos against your doorbell: it needs to be a little larger than the device so it can hide what is behind it. If yours is unusually big or an odd shape, message us before you order and we will tell you straight.

How it fits

  • No screws supplied, and none needed. The plate is clamped between the doorbell (or its own back plate) and the wall, so the screws that came with your doorbell hold both. Nothing extra to buy.
  • No adhesive. This is a solid plate, not a sticky pad - it does not have a self-adhesive backing and does not need one.
  • Mark, drill, sandwich. Hold the plate against your doorbell's back plate, mark through the existing holes, drill them, then put the plate on the wall with the doorbell over the top and drive the original screws through both.

What it is for

Mostly it is for hiding a mess. Swap doorbells and you are left with the old fixing holes, a rectangle of unfaded paint and whatever the last installer did to the render. The plate covers bumps, holes, dents and scratches and gives you a clean, flat surface to mount onto - which also helps if the wall itself is uneven.

Material

Made in the EU from hard, durable plexiglass. Slim, strong, and fine to use indoors or out.

Every part is quality-checked before it ships. If anything arrives faulty or doesn't fit as described, contact us and we'll put it right.

Bought via a marketplace? Returns are handled under that marketplace's own policy.

On top of that, everything we make is covered by our lifetime warranty – if a part ever fails, we replace it, for as long as you own it.

Installer & Trade Pricing

Fitting these regularly? If you install doorbells, cameras or access control for a living – or you look after a block of flats, a letting portfolio or a site – we can do better than the single-unit price.

Tell us the models and rough quantities and we’ll come back with a quote. Repeat orders and mixed items from across the range are fine.

We also make parts to order, so if you need something that is not on the site – a different size, or a bracket for an awkward bit of kit – just ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is this?
A blank universal mounting plate that sits between your doorbell and the wall. You drill the holes yourself to match your own doorbell, access reader or keypad - handy when there is no ready-made plate for your device.
Will it fit my doorbell?
Almost certainly. There is one size and it suits the vast majority of doorbells, readers and keypads, because the plate is blank - you mark and drill the hole pattern to match whatever you are fitting. The one thing to check is size: compare the plate dimensions in the photos with your device, as it needs to be a little larger to cover what is behind it. Not sure? Ask us before you order.
Are screws included?
No, and you do not need any. The plate is clamped between the doorbell and the wall, so you reuse the screws that came with your doorbell - they go through the plate and hold everything together.
Do I drill it myself?
Yes - that is the idea. Hold the plate against your doorbell's back plate, mark through the existing holes, drill, and fit them together. Full flexibility for odd or older models.
Will it cover old holes?
Usually, yes - it gives a solid backing that hides previous fixings and wall damage, and a flat surface to mount onto.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes - hard plexiglass, suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
