Every Eufy video doorbell comes with one wedge in the box, and it's a 15° wedge. Eufy doesn't make a steeper one. If 15° doesn't turn the camera far enough to see your path, you have three options: stack two 15° wedges, buy a fixed 30° or 45° corner mount, or fit an adjustable angle mount that you set anywhere from 25° to 55°, to the left or to the right. This guide helps you work out which angle you need before you buy anything, and shows how to mount a Eufy doorbell on an angle with or without drilling.

What the 15° Eufy wedge does, and where it runs out
The wedge in the box is fine when the path is only slightly off to one side. It isn't enough when the doorbell faces a side wall, sits deep in a porch, or is on the opposite side of the door to the path. Eufy's own suggestion for more angle is to put two 15° wedges back to back for 30°, with longer screws. That works, but you need a second wedge and screws long enough to go through both, and you still can't go past 30°.
A camera aimed the wrong way doesn't just give you a poor picture. Visitors walk in from the edge of the frame, so motion alerts fire late and faces come out in profile. If the lens is close to a side wall, the night-time infrared bounces straight back off the brick and washes out the picture. Eufy warns about this in its own fitting advice.
How to angle a Eufy doorbell camera: how much do you need?
Before you buy any wedge, check. Hold the doorbell (or your phone camera) flat against the wall where it will go and look at the picture. Then turn it slowly until the path or gate is in the middle. The angle between the doorbell and the wall is the angle you need. As a rough guide:
- Path slightly off to one side: the 15° wedge from the box is often enough. Use it.
- Doorbell on the wall beside the door, path arriving from the side: usually 25° to 40°.
- Doorbell facing a side wall, a corner or the far end of a narrow porch: usually 45° to 55°.
Check the night view too. If a nearby wall is lighting up in the infrared, turning the lens away from it usually helps.
Fixed 30° or 45° wedge, or adjustable?
Sellers call these parts wedges, angle mounts, corner mounts or angled mounting brackets, but they all do the same job. Fixed-angle corner mounts for Eufy doorbells are easy to find, usually at 30° or 45°. They're a good choice if you've measured your angle, it happens to be one of those two, and your exact model is on the seller's list. The catch is that you choose the angle before you've seen it on the wall. If 45° turns out to be too much, you buy another one. Many are shaped around one or two Eufy models, so they may not fit a doorbell you buy later.
An adjustable wedge lets you set the angle with the doorbell on the wall and the app open. We designed ours for exactly that:
- You choose the angle: anywhere from 25° to 55°, to the left or to the right. The same part works whether your doorbell is on the left or the right of the door.
- Degree markings on the face, so you set it deliberately rather than by eye, and can get back to the same setting if you ever move it.
- Side to side only. It turns the view across the front of the house. It does not angle the doorbell up or down.
- Fits every Eufy doorbell, wired and battery, plus most other slim doorbells. If you change brand, the wedge can stay on the wall.
Here's our honest view: if 15° is enough, use the wedge Eufy gave you and don't buy anything. If you need more, adjustable takes the guesswork out.

How to mount a Eufy doorbell on the wedge
- Check the view in the Eufy Security app. Hold the doorbell where it will sit, and note which way it needs to turn and roughly how far. Check it at night as well if you can.
- Check your back plate fits. The screw holes on your Eufy's back plate need to land inside a 145 × 46 mm area on the face of the wedge. Every Eufy doorbell we know of fits.
- Wired doorbell? Sort the cable first. Take out two of the wedge's screws, loosen the other two, open it flat and cut the two thin cable tabs. Feed the cable in from the back, then close it up again. Battery models can skip this step.
- Set the angle using the degree markings, then tighten the wedge's screws to hold it there.
- Fix the wedge to the wall. On brick or render, use the four wall screws and wall plugs. On a smooth, solid surface such as uPVC, glass, glazed tile or painted metal, you can use the 3M VHB pad instead. Clean both the wall and the back of the wedge with isopropyl alcohol, press it on hard for 30 seconds, then leave it 24 hours before you hang the doorbell. The pad only sticks once, so line it up dry first.
- Fit your Eufy back plate to the wedge with the four small stainless screws. Don't drill the wedge for these: press and twist a small Phillips screwdriver through to make the holes, because a drill bit tears the grid inside and the screw won't bite. If your back plate's holes are a little too big for the screw, use one of the stainless washers under the head. Most Eufy plates don't need them.
- Clip the doorbell on and check the live view again, day and night.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Eufy doorbell come with a wedge?
Yes. Every Eufy video doorbell comes with one 15° wedge. Eufy doesn't make a steeper one. For more angle you need a third-party wedge or corner mount.
Can I stack two Eufy 15° wedges?
Yes. Eufy suggests it, and it gives you 30°. You need a second wedge and longer screws to go through both, and you can't go any further than 30°.
Should I buy a 30° or a 45° Eufy wedge?
Hold the doorbell or your phone camera against the wall and turn it until the path is in the middle of the picture. That's the angle you need. If you're unsure, or it falls between 30° and 45°, an adjustable wedge covers 25° to 55°, so you don't have to guess.
Can I mount a Eufy doorbell without drilling?
Yes, on a smooth, solid surface: uPVC, glass, glazed tile or painted metal. The 3M VHB pad is in the box. It won't hold on brick, render or rough wood, so use the screws and wall plugs there. To remove it later, work a filling knife sprayed with WD-40 slowly behind the pad.
Can I mount a Eufy doorbell without screws?
Without screws in the wall, yes: the adhesive pad holds the wedge, so there are no holes and no wall plugs. Your Eufy's back plate still screws to the wedge itself, with the four small screws in the box. If your doorbell already faces the right way and you only want to avoid drilling, our no-drill adhesive mount for Eufy does that without the angle.
Will an angled wedge help Eufy night vision?
Often, yes. If the doorbell is close to a side wall, the infrared light reflects off the wall and washes out the night picture. Turning the lens away from that wall usually cures it. Check the night view before you fix anything.
Does the wedge angle the doorbell up or down?
No. It turns the doorbell left or right only. It fixes a doorbell aimed at the wrong side, not one mounted too high or too low.
Will it fit the Eufy E340, C30 or my exact model?
Yes. It's compatible with all Eufy video doorbells, wired and battery, from the original 1080p to the E340, S330, C30 and C31. The cable tabs are for the wired models; battery models simply sit on top.
Is it metal?
No, and that's deliberate. It's printed in heavy-duty UV-stable PETG plastic, with stainless steel screws. PETG won't corrode, and it won't block your doorbell's wireless signal the way a metal mount can.
What's in the box?
One adjustable wedge, one 3M VHB adhesive pad (not pre-applied), four small stainless screws for your doorbell's back plate, eight stainless washers in two sizes, and four wall screws with wall plugs. Your doorbell and its back plate aren't included. You use the plate that came with your Eufy.
An honest note
Because this is a universal part, it sits a little wider or taller than some Eufy doorbells. That's cosmetic and doesn't affect how securely it holds.
You may also see faint layer lines across the surface. They're a normal result of 3D printing, not a fault, and they make no difference to strength, weather resistance or fit. We'd rather tell you now than have it come as a surprise.
